The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.37.25

यथा यथोदयो ज्ञप्तेर्द्वैतशान्तिस्तथा तथा ।
वासनाविलयश्चैव कथमिच्छोदयो भवेत् ॥ २५ ॥

yathā yathodayo jñapterdvaitaśāntistathā tathā |
vāsanāvilayaścaiva kathamicchodayo bhavet || 25 ||

But the rising wish sets of itself in the heart of the wise man, as the doubt of duality vanishes from the minds of learned, upon the rise of the light of their understanding.
