The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अद्य त्वेते परिज्ञाता मया स्वविषयारयः ।
कष्टा इन्द्रियनामानो वञ्चयित्वा तु मां पुनः ॥ ३४ ॥

adya tvete parijñātā mayā svaviṣayārayaḥ |
kaṣṭā indriyanāmāno vañcayitvā tu māṃ punaḥ || 34 ||

I have come too late and to-day only to know, that the objects of my senses are my greatest enemies; and this I have known after being repeatedly deceived by my organs of sense.
