The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.6.30

येषां विनाशनं नासीद्यैर्भुक्तं भुवनत्रयम् ।
तेऽपि तेऽप्यचिरेणैव समं भस्मपदं गताः ॥ ३० ॥

yeṣāṃ vināśanaṃ nāsīdyairbhuktaṃ bhuvanatrayam |
te'pi te'pyacireṇaiva samaṃ bhasmapadaṃ gatāḥ || 30 ||

Those (demons) that were invulnerable in warfare, and usurped to the dominion of the three worlds, even those invincible giants, have been reduced to ashes in a short time.
