तैलबिन्दुरिवादर्शे विश्राम्यत्युपदेशवाक् ।
असंवेदनमात्रेण नोदेतीच्छाभवाङ्कुरः ॥ ८७ ॥

tailabindurivādarśe viśrāmyatyupadeśavāk |
asaṃvedanamātreṇa nodetīcchābhavāṅkuraḥ || 87 ||

Words of advice stick to the sapient mind, as drops of oil adhere on glass mirror; and that our indifference to the world is the only preventive of its thorns, and is the best advice to the wise.
