The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.125.4

सर्वमेव परित्यज्य महामौनी भवानघ ।
निर्वाणवान्निर्मननः क्षीणचित्तः प्रशान्तधीः ॥ ४ ॥

sarvameva parityajya mahāmaunī bhavānagha |
nirvāṇavānnirmananaḥ kṣīṇacittaḥ praśāntadhīḥ || 4 ||

Do you avoid all these, O sinless Rama, and remain quite silent in yourself, and be extinct in the divine essence, by restraining the actions of your heart and mind and by the tranquillity of your soul.
