The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शिखिध्वज उवाच ।
अहो नु फलितं पुण्यपादपैर्नः कुलाचले ।
यस्माद्भवानसङ्गोऽपि वाञ्छत्यस्मत्समागमम् ॥ ५० ॥

śikhidhvaja uvāca |
aho nu phalitaṃ puṇyapādapairnaḥ kulācale |
yasmādbhavānasaṅgo'pi vāñchatyasmatsamāgamam || 50 ||

Sikhidvaja replied:—Ah! I see now that the arbours of this mountain, are about to yield the fruits of my meritorious acts, that have made a retired recluse like yourself to condescend to desire my company.
