The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.82.1

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
अणुतां स्थूलतां वापि यथा गच्छति योगिनाम् ।
देहो नाम तथा सम्यग्वक्ष्यमाणमिदं श्रृणु ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
aṇutāṃ sthūlatāṃ vāpi yathā gacchati yoginām |
deho nāma tathā samyagvakṣyamāṇamidaṃ śrṛṇu || 1 ||

Vasishtha continued:—Hear me now tell you, how the bodies of yogis are capable of expansion and contraction at will; as to be multum in parvo;and parvum in multo.
