The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कंचित्कालं सुषुप्तस्थं कलया जडतां घनाम् ।
अनुभूय ददर्शाथ स्वात्मानं भ्रमरं स्थिरम् ॥ २१ ॥
kaṃcitkālaṃ suṣuptasthaṃ kalayā jaḍatāṃ ghanām |
anubhūya dadarśātha svātmānaṃ bhramaraṃ sthiram || 21 ||
It had remained long in its sleep and rest, but being disgusted with its drowsy dullness, it thought of being the fleeting bee its constant guest, and found itself to be immediately changed to a fluttering bee.
