The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.29.29

यथा पश्यति दिक्चक्रं भ्रमदत्यन्तमोहितः ।
अकस्मादेव रुढेन मिथ्याज्ञानेन वल्गता ॥ २९ ॥

yathā paśyati dikcakraṃ bhramadatyantamohitaḥ |
akasmādeva ruḍhena mithyājñānena valgatā || 29 ||

The mind views by its primitive and causeless error, the constant rotation of bodies both in the inside and out side of it; and some as moving forward and others as falling down, and many as dropped below.
