The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.29.30

तत्रस्थेन तथैवेदं दृश्यते देहचक्रकम् ।
भ्रमितं च भ्रमदूपं पतद्रूपं प्रपातितम् ॥ ३० ॥

tatrasthena tathaivedaṃ dṛśyate dehacakrakam |
bhramitaṃ ca bhramadūpaṃ patadrūpaṃ prapātitam || 30 ||

Seeing the rise and fall of these rotatory bodies, the wise man must rely on the firmness of his mind, and not himself to be led away by these rotations in repeated succession.
