The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.28.41

धराप्यविद्यमानापि संकल्पाद्दृश्यते तथा ।
दृश्यते दृष्टिवैरूप्याद्यथा व्योमनि पिच्छिका ॥ ४१ ॥

dharāpyavidyamānāpi saṃkalpāddṛśyate tathā |
dṛśyate dṛṣṭivairūpyādyathā vyomani picchikā || 41 ||

This inexistent earth also appears as existent in our cogitation, as there appears bundles of peacock's feathers in the sky to the vitiated or purblind eye.
