The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.28.19

अयं नामाहमित्यन्तर्गृहीतमननं स्थितम् ।
मांसास्थिमयनिर्माणदेहोऽहमिति विभ्रमम् ॥ १९ ॥

ayaṃ nāmāhamityantargṛhītamananaṃ sthitam |
māṃsāsthimayanirmāṇadeho'hamiti vibhramam || 19 ||

It is your error to think that you are the material body which is made of flesh and bones. It is the inward thought of your mind that is situated in the body, and makes you to think yourself as so and so and such a one.
