The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.21.11

यदा शेषाकृतिं रुद्रो नसमाप्तैकचेष्टिताम् ।
ययौ गरुत्मान्ब्रह्माण्डं तदा नाकम्पत द्रुमः ॥ ११ ॥

yadā śeṣākṛtiṃ rudro nasamāptaikaceṣṭitām |
yayau garutmānbrahmāṇḍaṃ tadā nākampata drumaḥ || 11 ||

When the snake which upholds the earth, was assailed by Rudra in the form of Garuda, who shook the world by the blast of his wings, even then was this tree unshaken by the wind.
