The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.15.1

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
कुसुमापूर्णकल्पाभ्रकुन्तले तस्य मूर्धनि ।
कल्पाङ्गमहमद्राक्षं शाखाचक्रमिव स्थितम् ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
kusumāpūrṇakalpābhrakuntale tasya mūrdhani |
kalpāṅgamahamadrākṣaṃ śākhācakramiva sthitam || 1 ||

Vasishtha continued:—I saw the kalpa tree on the top of one of these peaks, which was girt by its branches on all sides; and covered with flowers appearing as tufts of hairs on its head.
