The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.7.29

सृष्टेः कतिपयं कालं प्रहृष्टाः कुलशालिनः ।
अधःकृतोग्रनरकपङ्काः शङ्कोज्झिताः क्षणम् ॥ २९ ॥

sṛṣṭeḥ katipayaṃ kālaṃ prahṛṣṭāḥ kulaśālinaḥ |
adhaḥkṛtogranarakapaṅkāḥ śaṅkojjhitāḥ kṣaṇam || 29 ||

The respectable men, that are joyous of their worldly grandeur for a short time, are entirely forgetful of the severe torments of hell, awaiting on them afterwards.
