जडमेव समभ्येति पुनर्मरणवाडवः ।
जन्म बाल्यं व्रजत्येतद्यौवनं युवता जराम् ॥ ४५ ॥

jaḍameva samabhyeti punarmaraṇavāḍavaḥ |
janma bālyaṃ vrajatyetadyauvanaṃ yuvatā jarām || 45 ||

The ignorant man that is subjected to repeated births, and is rising and falling as waves in the tumultuous ocean of this world, is exposed also to repeated deaths:and the burning fire which engulphs his dead body, is as in the submarine fire of this sea.
