The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

त्रिभिरेतैश्चिराभ्यस्तैर्हृदयग्रन्थयो दृढाः ।
निःशेषमेव त्रुट्यन्ति विसच्छेदाद्गुणा इव ॥ २२ ॥

tribhiretaiścirābhyastairhṛdayagranthayo dṛḍhāḥ |
niḥśeṣameva truṭyanti visacchedādguṇā iva || 22 ||

Having mastered these triple virtues; you will cut asunder your heart strings of worldly affections; as the breaking of the lotus-stalk severs its interior fibres.
