The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

योगिदेहसमीपात्तु गत्वा प्राप्नोति हिंस्रताम् ।
यद्यद्भवति तत्राशु तथारूपं न संशयः ॥ ५० ॥

yogidehasamīpāttu gatvā prāpnoti hiṃsratām |
yadyadbhavati tatrāśu tathārūpaṃ na saṃśayaḥ || 50 ||

But the savage beast being removed from the side of the Yogi, resumes its ravenous nature again, in the company of the rapacious and wild beasts of the forest.
