नोपेक्षते दुःखदशां न सुखाशामपेक्षते ।
कार्योदये नैति मुदं कार्यनाशे न खिद्यते ॥ २८ ॥

nopekṣate duḥkhadaśāṃ na sukhāśāmapekṣate |
kāryodaye naiti mudaṃ kāryanāśe na khidyate || 28 ||

He neither shrinks from misery, nor does he hail his good fortune; he is neither elated at his success, nor depressed by his failure.
