The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मनोहंकारविलये सर्वभावान्तरस्थिता ।
समुदेति परानन्दा या तनुः पारमेश्वरी ॥ ५१ ॥

manohaṃkāravilaye sarvabhāvāntarasthitā |
samudeti parānandā yā tanuḥ pārameśvarī || 51 ||

After extinction of egoism and the mental powers, and subsidence of all the feelings in oneself; there arises a transcendent ecstasy in the soul, which is styled the form of the divine or perfect joy and blissness:—
