The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

समानप्रतिभासोत्थसंभ्रमं भ्रान्तचेतसः ।
तथा तं दृष्टवन्तस्ते भूतकीरजनोच्चयाः ॥ १७ ॥

samānapratibhāsotthasaṃbhramaṃ bhrāntacetasaḥ |
tathā taṃ dṛṣṭavantaste bhūtakīrajanoccayāḥ || 17 ||

Men of deluded understanding are subject to the errors, arising from the like cause of their fallacy; and it was owing to this false conception, that the Bhota and Kiri people, fell into the very same error.
