The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इदं सुखमिदं दुःखमिदं नास्तीदमस्ति मे ।
इति दोलायितं चेतो मूढमेव न पण्डितम् ॥ १२ ॥

idaṃ sukhamidaṃ duḥkhamidaṃ nāstīdamasti me |
iti dolāyitaṃ ceto mūḍhameva na paṇḍitam || 12 ||

It is the ignorant and not the learned, whose minds fluctuate with the thoughts, that this is pleasure and the other is pain, and that I have this and am in want of another.
