The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दृक्क्षुद्राभिरुपानीतं दूराद्रूपमधु त्वया ।
पीयते स्वीकृतं शक्त्या नेत्रवातायनस्थया ॥ ४८ ॥

dṛkkṣudrābhirupānītaṃ dūrādrūpamadhu tvayā |
pīyate svīkṛtaṃ śaktyā netravātāyanasthayā || 48 ||

These luxuries like honey, are brought from great distances by the bees of the bodily organs; and the spirit tastes the sweets, by looking upon them through the windows of its eyes.
