The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सर्वदैवासि संसुप्तः शक्त्या संबोध्यसे विभो ।
भोगालोकनलीलार्थं कामिन्या कामुको यथा ॥ ४७ ॥

sarvadaivāsi saṃsuptaḥ śaktyā saṃbodhyase vibho |
bhogālokanalīlārthaṃ kāminyā kāmuko yathā || 47 ||

Thou Lord! art ever asleep, and risest also by thy own power; and then thou lookest on the luxuriant world, as a lover looks on his beloved.
