The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.29.51

मा विषादं कृथा व्यर्थं सुखदुःखैषणा न ते ।
शुद्धचित्तोऽसि सर्वात्मा सर्ववस्त्ववभासकः ॥ ५१ ॥

mā viṣādaṃ kṛthā vyarthaṃ sukhaduḥkhaiṣaṇā na te |
śuddhacitto'si sarvātmā sarvavastvavabhāsakaḥ || 51 ||

Never regret nor sorrow for any thing, nor think of your pleasures and pains, which do not affect your soul; you are the pure intellect and the all pervading soul, which manifests itself in every thing.
