The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.60.12

करोति विहगी लोला वने प्रेष्यान्तरेष्विव ।
तेभ्योऽपि स्वरसेनैव यान्ति पीवरतामपि ॥ १२ ॥

karoti vihagī lolā vane preṣyāntareṣviva |
tebhyo'pi svarasenaiva yānti pīvaratāmapi || 12 ||

There they alight as birds in the groves and forests, and become stiffened by sipping the juice of fruits and flowers.
