The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विश्वासं यान्ति ये लोके तैरलं नरगर्दभैः ।
इतः केशा इतो रक्तमितीयं प्रमदातनुः ॥ ३ ॥

viśvāsaṃ yānti ye loke tairalaṃ naragardabhaiḥ |
itaḥ keśā ito raktamitīyaṃ pramadātanuḥ || 3 ||

They are human asses, who dote on the beauty of female bodies, which are no better than lumps of flesh, blood and bones.
