223,437 words | ISBN-10: 8171101519

The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.47.69

पुनःपुनरिदं सर्वं पुनर्मरणजन्मनी ।
पुनः सुखं पुनर्दुःखं पुनः करणकर्मणी ॥ ६९ ॥

punaḥpunaridaṃ sarvaṃ punarmaraṇajanmanī |
punaḥ sukhaṃ punarduḥkhaṃ punaḥ karaṇakarmaṇī || 69 ||

All these appear in repetition, and so repeated is the course of our births and deaths; as those of pain and pleasure succeeding one another, and our rest and actions, following each other for evermore.
