The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तं त्यजन्त्यापदः सर्वाः सर्पा इव जरत्त्वचम् ।
परिस्फुरति यस्यान्तर्नित्यं सत्त्वचमत्कृतिः ॥ ३८ ॥

taṃ tyajantyāpadaḥ sarvāḥ sarpā iva jarattvacam |
parisphurati yasyāntarnityaṃ sattvacamatkṛtiḥ || 38 ||

He whose mind is illumined by the wondrous light of truth, is always taken under the protection of the gods, as the mundane egg is protected by Brahma.
