The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तथैवेमे वयमपि ससुरासुरदानवाः ।
असत्या एव वल्गामो याम आयाम एव च ॥ १६ ॥

tathaiveme vayamapi sasurāsuradānavāḥ |
asatyā eva valgāmo yāma āyāma eva ca || 16 ||

It is in like manner that ourselves, these gods and demigods, and all things besides, are unrealities in fact, and yet we seem to turn about and speak and act as real persons.
