The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देशाद्देशं गते चित्ते मध्ये यच्चेतसो वपुः ।
अजाड्यसंविन्मननं तन्मयो भव सर्वदा ॥ ५४ ॥

deśāddeśaṃ gate citte madhye yaccetaso vapuḥ |
ajāḍyasaṃvinmananaṃ tanmayo bhava sarvadā || 54 ||

The mind traversing from one place to another, leaves the body in the interim, which is neither moving nor quite unmoved; since its mental part only is in its moving state.
