The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जगदेवमनङ्गस्य स्वात्मनो ब्रह्मणस्तथा ।
यादृगेकनरः स्वप्ने युद्धमन्यं नरं प्रति ॥ ४३ ॥

jagadevamanaṅgasya svātmano brahmaṇastathā |
yādṛgekanaraḥ svapne yuddhamanyaṃ naraṃ prati || 43 ||

The visible world has the same relation, to the bodiless and undivided spirit of God; as one fighting in a dream bears to his antagonist.
