The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथ राजा द्वितीयोऽपि वैष्णवास्त्रस्य शान्तये ।
ददौ वैष्णवमेवास्त्रं शत्रुनिष्ठावपूरकम् ॥ ७ ॥

atha rājā dvitīyo'pi vaiṣṇavāstrasya śāntaye |
dadau vaiṣṇavamevāstraṃ śatruniṣṭhāvapūrakam || 7 ||

At this time, the rival king Viduratha, sent forth another Vaishnava weapon for repelling the former, and removing the reliance of his foe in his foible.
