The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दन्तिदन्तविनिर्भिन्ना दरदा दलितारयः ।
नीता रक्तमहानद्या द्रुमाणां पल्लवा इव ॥ १४ ॥

dantidantavinirbhinnā daradā dalitārayaḥ |
nītā raktamahānadyā drumāṇāṃ pallavā iva || 14 ||

The Daradas were gored by the tusks of the elephants of their enemies, and were borne away in floods of their blood, like the broken branches of trees.
