The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अवन्तीस्यन्दनश्रेणीकुन्तिपाञ्चनदेरितैः ।
स्पन्दमाना विद्रवन्ती निपपात महाभृगौ ॥ ८ ॥

avantīsyandanaśreṇīkuntipāñcanaderitaiḥ |
spandamānā vidravantī nipapāta mahābhṛgau || 8 ||

The line of war chariots from Avanti, being opposed by the arms of the warriors of the Kunta and Panchanada districts, fell in fighting by the sides of the hills.
