The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.34.39

वहद्भिर्व्योम्नि सक्षेम पश्य नीता क्षयं शरै ।
शक्तिवृष्टिरुपायान्ती सस्यश्रीः शलभैरिव ॥ ३९ ॥

vahadbhirvyomni sakṣema paśya nītā kṣayaṃ śarai |
śaktivṛṣṭirupāyāntī sasyaśrīḥ śalabhairiva || 39 ||

Behold ye friends! how these flying arrows and showering spears, are approaching to us with hits of their spoil, like bodies of locusts, bearing away their verdant booty in the air.
