The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कदम्बकुन्दजम्बीरकरञ्जवनवासिनी ।
पत्राम्बरधरा श्यामा शबर्यहमथाभवम् ॥ ३८ ॥

patrāmbaradharā śyāmā śabaryahamathābhavam || 38 ||

And then having been a resident in the woods, I was turned to a woodman's mate, wearing a vest of leaves on my loins.
