The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

वनवासनया मुग्धा संपन्नाहमथोद्धता ।
गुलुच्छनयना पत्रहस्ता वनविलासिनी ॥ ३९ ॥

vanavāsanayā mugdhā saṃpannāhamathoddhatā |
gulucchanayanā patrahastā vanavilāsinī || 39 ||

Growing fond of my life, I sported wantonly about the forest, and was changed to the guluncha plant, delighting the woods with my leafy palms and flowering eyes.
