The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.21.4

भ्रान्तिरेवमनन्तेयं चिद्व्योमव्योम्नि भासुरा ।
अपकुड्या जगन्नाम्नी नगरी कल्पनात्मिका ॥ ४ ॥

bhrāntirevamananteyaṃ cidvyomavyomni bhāsurā |
apakuḍyā jagannāmnī nagarī kalpanātmikā || 4 ||

But the infinity of objects, appearing in the empty sphere of the immaterial intellect, is mere illusion, and the baseless city of the world, like an aerial castle, is but the creation of imagination.
