The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सग्रामद्विजजीवात्मा तस्मिन्नेव स्वसद्मनि ।
व्योम्न्येवेदं महाराष्ट्रं व्योमात्मैव प्रपश्यति ॥ १५ ॥

sagrāmadvijajīvātmā tasminneva svasadmani |
vyomnyevedaṃ mahārāṣṭraṃ vyomātmaiva prapaśyati || 15 ||

The living soul of the village Brahman, saw within itself and in the very house, the image of this great kingdom, as his departed spirit now views the same in its empty vacuity.
