The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.20.14

विभिद्यमानामन्येन स्थापयाम्यहमेव याम् ।
मर्यादां तां मया भिन्नां कोऽपरः पालयिष्यति ॥ १४ ॥

vibhidyamānāmanyena sthāpayāmyahameva yām |
maryādāṃ tāṃ mayā bhinnāṃ ko'paraḥ pālayiṣyati || 14 ||

It is I that establish the law when others are about to break it; if then I should slight the same, who else is there who would observe it.
