The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.10.26

न विद्मः किमसौ याति किं करोति किमीहते ।
किं ध्यायति किमायाति कथं किमनुधावति ॥ २६ ॥

na vidmaḥ kimasau yāti kiṃ karoti kimīhate |
kiṃ dhyāyati kimāyāti kathaṃ kimanudhāvati || 26 ||

We do not know where he goes, what he does, what he desires, what he meditates upon, whence and when he comes and what he follows.
