The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.109; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
सुरैस् त्रिपुर-जिन् मुखैर् अपि विधीयमान-स्तुतेर्
अपि प्रथयतः पराम् अधिक-पारमेष्ठ्य-श्रियम् ।
दधत्-पुलकिनं हरेर् अधि-शिरोधि सव्यं भुजं
समस्कुरुत पांशुमान् शिरसि चन्द्रकान् अर्जुनः ॥३.३.१०९॥

yathā —
surais tripura-jin mukhair api vidhīyamāna-stuter
api prathayataḥ parām adhika-pārameṣṭhya-śriyam |
dadhat-pulakinaṃ harer adhi-śirodhi savyaṃ bhujaṃ
samaskuruta pāṃśumān śirasi candrakān arjunaḥ
||3.3.109||

English translation

An example:
“Though the devatās headed by Śiva began praising Kṛṣṇa announcing His supreme position as the Lord, Arjuna, Kṛṣṇa’s friend in Vraja, just put his arm with hairs standing on end upon Kṛṣṇa’s shoulder and wiped the dust from
His peacock feather.”
