The Garga-samhita Verse 5.13.24, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. स्रि-गोप उचुह् नन्द-सुनुह् किलयति सख यो ऽयम् न सम्चयह् मेघ-च्यमह् पित-वसह् स्रग्वि कुन्दल-मन्दितह् स्रि-गोप

sri-gopa ucuh nanda-sunuh kilayati sakha yo 'yam na samcayah megha-cyamah pita-vasah sragvi kundala-manditah sri-gopa

ucuh—the gopas said; nanda-sunuh—Nanda's son; kilaindeed; ayaticomes; sakhafriend; yah—who; ayamHe; na—not; samcayah—doubt; megha-cyamah—dark as a cloud; pita-vasah—with yellow garments; sragvi—garlanded; kundala-manditah—decorated with earrings.

English translation of verse 5.13.24:

The gopas said: Nanda's son is coming. It is our friend Krsna. There is no doubt of it. He is dark as a monsoon cloud. He wears yellow garments. He is decorated with earrings and a garland.
