This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 65.81

अथ स सगवयाश्वरथो खो बहुहयवारणयुक्तां सेनां ।
अभिनिर्मिणीयभियासि येन बोधिसत्वासनं श्रेष्ठं ॥ ८१ ॥

atha sa sagavayāśvaratho kho bahuhayavāraṇayuktāṃ senāṃ |
abhinirmiṇīyabhiyāsi yena bodhisatvāsanaṃ śreṣṭhaṃ || 81 ||

Then Mara, in his chariot drawn through the air by oxen and horses, conjured up his host, including horses and elephants, and advanced to the Bodhisattva’s noble seat. (81)
