This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.319

को अयं ईदृशान् धर्मा लोकनाथेन दर्शितां ।
श्रुणित्वा न सिया तुष्टो अन्यत्र मारपक्षिकात् ॥ ३१९ ॥

ko ayaṃ īdṛśān dharmā lokanāthena darśitāṃ |
śruṇitvā na siyā tuṣṭo anyatra mārapakṣikāt || 319 ||

Who, having heard of such marvellous signs displayed by the Guide of the world, would not be glad? Who but a minion of Mara? (319)
