This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 12.10

वशिभूतानां कोटी परिवारो तस्य द्वादश आसि ।
नव च वर्षसहराणि मनुजान तदा अभूष्य् आयुः ॥ १० ॥

vaśibhūtānāṃ koṭī parivāro tasya dvādaśa āsi |
nava ca varṣasaharāṇi manujāna tadā abhūṣy āyuḥ || 10 ||

He had a retinue of twelve kotis of saints, and the span of men’s lives was then nine thousand years. (10)
