The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तस्मात्कुतः शरीरादि वस्तु सप्रतिघं कुतः ।
यदिदं दृश्यते किंचित्तदप्रतिघमाततम् ॥ २ ॥

tasmātkutaḥ śarīrādi vastu sapratighaṃ kutaḥ |
yadidaṃ dṛśyate kiṃcittadapratighamātatam || 2 ||

How then can there be a tangible body, or any material substance at all; and all these that appear all around to our sight, is only an intactile extension of pure vacuity.
