The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अबुद्धमुत्तरग्रन्थात्पूर्वं पूर्वं हि बुध्यते ।
ग्रन्थं पदपदार्थज्ञः खेदवान्न निवर्तते ॥ ७३ ॥

abuddhamuttaragranthātpūrvaṃ pūrvaṃ hi budhyate |
granthaṃ padapadārthajñaḥ khedavānna nivartate || 73 ||

The unintelligent will be able to understand the teachings of the former part from the latter; and he that understands the words and purports of these lectures, will never return disappointed.
