The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.168.33

अयं चिरस्थसंकल्पः सर्गप्रलयविभ्रमः ।
ज्ञानं स्वभावकचनमज्ञानं भ्रान्तिजृम्भणम् ॥ ३३ ॥

ayaṃ cirasthasaṃkalpaḥ sargapralayavibhramaḥ |
jñānaṃ svabhāvakacanamajñānaṃ bhrāntijṛmbhaṇam || 33 ||

It is the longstanding and deep rooted prejudice, that produces the erroneous conceptions of the creation and destruction of the world; it is wisdom to know it in its true light, and foolishness to take the wrong view of it.
